Miniature Food Showcase

These miniature displays of Indian dishes are done by artist Mrs Meenakshi Ram. She is an expert in working with polymer clay and hand-sculpts each miniature dish including the accompanying cutlery and utensils. Meenakshi is also meticulous in ensuring the attention to detail. For instance, she mixes many different shades of polymer clay to achieve the desired colour of each dish.

Each component of the dish is made separately and then painstakingly assembled - this includes each grain of rice, each strand of noodle, and even the slices of lime wedges!

About Mrs Meenakshi Ram

This display of Indian food items are Meenakshi’s latest venture, showcasing the vast variety of Indian Cuisine in intricate miniature pieces. Throughout all her artworks, Meenakshi creatively showcases her Indian roots and endeavours to embrace, celebrate and sustain the Indian Culture.
