[Cancelled] Talk on Cantonese Cuisine with Cooking Demonstration

Learn to coax the natural flavours out of ingredients in this cooking demonstration by Si Chuan Dou Hua restaurant’s executive Cantonese chef Leung Wing Cheung. Chef Leung will also walk you through the finer points of preparing delectable Cantonese delicacies.

About Leung Wing Cheung
Leung Wing Cheung is the executive Cantonese chef at Parkroyal on Kitchener Road’s Si Chuan Dou Hua restaurant. The Guangdong-born chef spent 10 years in Hong Kong before moving to Singapore in 1989. He has more than 40 years of experience in the kitchen. Before he took over the reins as executive chef at Si Chuan Dou Hua, Mr Leung worked at a clutch of renowned Chinese restaurants including Fortune Gate, Tung Lok Restaurant, Summer Palace as well as Xin Cuisine.

About Lee Swee Har
Lee Swee Har, who is vice-president of the Kwong Wai Siew Lee Clan Association, has chalked up years of experience conducting cooking workshops. Mdm Lee also holds a higher certificate from the Singapore Culinary Institute. In May 2009, she was awarded the special gold award at the fifth International Competition of Far East in Beijing.
