Mr Yoosuf, who has been showcased in the Singapore HeritageFest (SHF) 2022 video, will be sharing his story in person at NDIMHC. He will also be conducting a live demonstration on how to build a frame for the typical poster/ A4 photograph.

Frame Making used to be a niche business for a group of Indian Muslim migrants from Thopputhurai region in Tamil Nadu, India. Join for a live demonstration and hands-on experience of how a frame is built for a typical A4 size photograph.
 
Mr Yoosuf, an expert frame maker, will, in addition, share stories about how his father Y Shahul Hameed came to set up his frame-making business in 1948, about apprenticeship in a family business, and how his father’s legacy continues today. He will also share about the Thopputhurai Muslim Association, which is part of the Federation of Indian Muslims, Singapore.
