Chutty-making Workshop
Kathakali dancers wear a distinctive white three-dimensional structure around their chin called the chutty. This essential element of their elaborate costume is crafted from a special mixture including rice paste and limestone. Learn the traditional techniques to create your own chutty mask under the expert guidance of Mr Sadanam Vivek from India.
Bhaskar's Arts Academy
Bhaskar’s Arts Academy is a Singapore-based Indian classical dance, music and theatre company that has grown with the nation since 1952. Initially helmed by the pioneer dance  couple the Bhaskars, the Academy is now led by their  daughter and Young Artist Award recipient (1996) Ms Meenakshy Bhaskar. Along with its teaching wing Nrityalaya  Aesthetics Society, BAA is steadfast in its mission to touch lives by championing Indian performing arts on stage and beyond.
