A heartwarming story about a three-generation Teochew restaurant, where tradition clashes with innovation when the youngest son returns from Paris, triggering a family feud over culinary heritage.

Set in Gim Hiang Restaurant, Home Kitchen is a tender, intergenerational drama created by Nine Years Theatre. Through a Teochew family's evolving relationship with their heritage business, the play explores memory, identity, and love—all anchored in the flavours of home-cooked food. Performed in Mandarin with English surtitles, it’s a rich dish of culture, conflict, and connection.
