Silambam Workshop
Silambam is more than a martial art – it's a dynamic narrative of tradition and discipline. Learn weapon techniques using rattan staffs, short sticks, and swords as well as master basic attack (Vettu) and defence (Vaaral) movements that challenge both the body and mind.
The Kalari Academy
The Kalari Academy is a home-grown organisation dedicated to the spreading of the ancient Indian martial arts, Kalaripayattu and Silambam in Singapore. Founded in 2015, we have instilled the knowledge of the arts to over 600 students from all walks of life and backgrounds. Over the 9 years, we have had the opportunity to work with organisations such as The Istana, Indian Heritage Centre and Asian Civilisation Museum to showcase the art form. National Heritage Board has recognised Silambam as an intangible cultural heritage of Singapore and Kalari Academy in its role in spreading the arts form.
